Pre war Hetchins

I found this abandoned. I instantly recognised the curly stays as a Hetchins and knew it was old, but had no idea how old until I contacted the Hetchins owners club. It's apparently pre-war, around 1935. Sadly, it's in a very sorry state and beyond economic repair, the frame has corroded to such an extent that it's probably too delicate to be ridden, the rear triangle is particularly bad. I've sprayed it with some WD40 to prevent it getting any worse, but other than that, I'm not really sure what to do with it.

Here's a good one for comparison: http://www.hetchins.org/504bril-05.htm

I'd have it resprayed/chromed and hang it on a wall. Piece of art in my opinion. Would you be interested in selling it?

I found it so I'd feel guilty accepting money for it, but tell me what you'd pay for it, be honest, and we'll give the money to charity and you can have it.
