I've got my eye on one of these - possibly 52 or 53. Looks like original pale blue paint, original headbadge. I haven't been able to look too closely - it's in a pile of bikes and frames and is pretty inaccessible at the moment. Has cotterless cranks, GB Hidiminium stem and has a Sturmey 3 speed rear wheel - although I believe the original rear wheel is in amongst the pile.
The guy is asking £300. No offers. Given it will need a complete sympathetic (expensive!) restoration is this a reasonable price?
I should ask him to free it from the rest so I can read the frame number to ask Rotrax about. Any advice welcome, including anything mentioning a bargepole!
