Shimano Sante Jockey Wheels

Retro Newbie
Looking for a bit of help in locating new jockey wheels for my Shimano Santé 7 speed tear derailiuer.

They seem to be a strange size, they are both 10 tooth, with one slightly fatter, the problem is the diameter is smaller than any I have found online, Iv tried a pair from a 600 tri colour and the diameter is fine but the depth where the bearin is too narrow and the wheels foul the metal cage. Looking at the bearings they are approx 3 millimetre longer than the 600 tricolour which means the the bolts are slightly longer and not tighten onto 600 jockey wheels

I really don’t want to change the mech as it’s a full matching sante groupset.

Any ideas ??

any older shimano jockey wheels will fit from the mid to lower end mechs.

try 105, 500ex, 300 - 500LX mtb mechs, theres all sorts

The 'fat' one is the floating one that allows a bit of leeway in the indexing department

These are cheap and cheerful

You can always use small washers to space them out of the cage does up too tight otherwise they should be fine
