Raleigh Kelloggs Pro Tour Headset Sizing.

Hi all,
Just looking a little help here. I have the above bike model and the threaded headset has brinelled, so it is time for a replacement.

Head tube length (height) has been measured with the cups removed at 175mm. and the fork steerer tube (from the bottom of the fork crown race) is measuring at 205mm. long.
I'm therefore thinking that I need a headset with a stack height of at least 35mm. and was therefore looking at the Tange Falcon headset.

Can someone please advise if this is a suitable headset?

Nice Headset the Falcon . It's in the range that should fit. The Levin and the Passage I think are a little lower and would likely need another spacer.

Midlife, thanks for that recommendation. Was just looking for a new one myself. Just the job, light and relatively inexpensive.

Tange headsets like MKS pedals are design classic which haven't changed since I was a lad

Agreed, they look the part. I have MKS Sylvan Road pedals under my feet most days.
