From Rotherham, small fleet of 531 and 501 road and hybrids, mid 50's and cycling for the love of it and losing weight along the way. Currently nursing the bruises from coming off last Saturday on the ice ( me and about 6 others) along the Manvers to Barnsley trail. But will be out in the morning for a road ride if it dosn't snow tonight.
Bike shown is Raleigh mid 80's 531 frame, mountain bike wheels with 32 mm Marathons, Brookes B17 saddle, Halfords ahead stem converter and Decathlon stem and bars. Transmission is Campag 980 and SR Custom chainset. I have 2 other Carltons, (pro - am and criterium) and a huge pile of period spares, and 5 other 531 and 501 frames, all listed on a spread sheet thanks to the wife.
