Just joined the forum so here goes with my first post, hope you like this one

1946 Humber Sports...cost new in 1946 was £15/10/7d which was a lot of money back then

It belonged to my wife's aunt who bought it new in 1946, she rode it until she was in her 80s then left it in her garden shed.
One day I was visiting her and the bike was sitting in the front garden, she was waiting for the refuse collectors to arrive so that she could throw it out
...and that's when I stepped in and rescued it almost 15 years ago

Hi,

Lovely bike with a certain amount of class (rethink - a lot of class) 'By appointment to the King'. What are your plans? I think most people here will say DON'T TOUCH THE PAINTWORK!!!!

I don't have any plans for it, I've had it 15 years and every now and then I take it out for a spin then put it back in the garage where it makes a great display

Great garage - i am jealous of the height you have - this is my current storage problem. Fancy a garage swap?
