Hi im Cap hook (youll see why later) I been into mtb since about 1988 had a few early rigid bikes, then in 1992 had an accident at work resulting in my right hand and forearm being amputated below the elbow, so in 1993 treated myself to a GT zaskar le built to suit my disability (which is in readers bikes >1997),which i have updated over the years, just stumbled across this site and its true old school rules..haha

Quite an impressive solution to a problem that Zaskar.
Saw a guy out on Sunday on a f/s with one arm. Thought afterwards how hard that must be to control. Had a go on a flat section. (out of eyeshot) Nearly crashed repeatedly. Stopped trying.
I think that's impressive that you've adapted it and re-learned to ride a bike in a way.
