Well allmost the worst thing what could happen happened today...

A few weeks ago at last I found myself the KLEIN I allways wanted.
Advertising was very nice, no comments about anything.
Sold my Team USA Rascal and Fat Wicked to fund the Klein.
Today the Klein arrived, me very happy....
Opened the box and still happy....
Unpacked the frame..... :cry:
The seatpost has been cracked.............................aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgh.
So many big pictures on the ad and non showed a sign of a crack.
Contacted the seller immediately so see whats happening.

And now Im dissapointed, no new bike, sold the Rascal, sold the Wicked (as good as).....

Well had to tell....

Is it a backfire Attitude perhaps?? (i've read some of your comments about your favorite color combo on a Klein

)

Any pic's perhaps of the crack?

Good luck on trying to solve the matter with the previous owner!!

Nope, not a backfire but a magenta/black Rascal....
This was the Klein I fell in love with bitd.

Indeed, that really s*cks

Strip it, have it fixed so we can send yours and mine to Jonrock together for a repaint. (My Rascal is still waiting for the journey to Jon)

Maybe we'll get a discount

Well as far as I know this isnt repairable only then to just drill 2 holes near the crack..

Hope the seller will be cooperative and we can solve this on a normal way.

did u have insurance on postage btw.ps get the tosser theres no way u could not know about that..the money should sstill be in the pp account of the seller as it takes a while to transfer ....file a grumble to stop him .... :twisted:

ooooo....nasty. Hope you get things sorted, guess the best case scenario is you get a refund....but you still have sold your others....that hurts

Oh you poor sod. Hope it works out.

Always the problem with such old kit guys. You never know what you might find.

Been there and experienced the same and you just have to take the hit sometimes.
