Madison 'Red S' Components - who what why when

So, early MTB stuff floating around out there has Madison's Red S stuck to it.

I have a Takagi chainset and there seams to be brakes and levers.

Anything else? Precious little out there.

Is that your bike LGF? It looks to be the same frame as mine.
I've only seen rakes and levers I think.
Madison's own brand, only on Rodgebacks.

Some bits were available as separates too - as well as on Rodgebacks

IIRC they made a bit of a deal about the sealing in the h/set and bb..

Pretty sure they did some quite nice road brakes as well.

My Frankenbike has a Red S crankset. Quite a nice looking thing. Especially with a full compliment of rings.
