Extra shift positions on an XT ST-M092 lever!

So I've noticed an extra shift position on my front ST-M092 XT gear shifter.

- Click 1 from granny to middle ring
- Click 2 moves the front mech up by about 2-3mm
- Click 3 from middle to outer ring.

Anyone else get this? It's actually very helpful as it allows "not perfect" front mech alinement! For example when in the middle ring at the front and 11T on the back and there's just a slight bit of rubbing on the front mech cage? Step forward extra click your time is now! It doesn't try to go into the outer ring just moves the cage slightly...

Any thoughts appreciated!

The higher- end ones always had a half-click for trimming, the cheap stuff just the basic three positions. Indexing the front is still a daft idea though!

Knew I read about it before, it's a "trimming" feature to stop rubbing ;)
