Kona Kula Mid-Chain-ring Replacement

Hi Guy & Gals
Kona Kula 8 speed 1996. Mid ring 32T 5 hole got chewed a bit again, two in 5yrs.
Specialites Compact 32-94 9 speed with ramps is what's installed.

Are ramps advisable?
Can anyone please advise were I can get the right new one from?

try spa cycles, they do ta, their own brand are very good and great value

Ramps and pins aid shifting so advisable if you like nice shifts.
