I think the flat bar and stem would look great, but if the bike fits now and is fun and comfortable then leave as is for a while at least

This bike hurts my eyes for all the right reasons! With those riser bars it makes a small 26” MTB look like a cruiser BMX!

Fits in well with today’s plethora of bike genres and wheel sizes...
