Random. I know, but what's your favourite Eddy Merckx team bike?

The Kelme one that Fabio Parra rode in the late '80s was absolutely stunning
and that green paint shone like an emerald! I think I saw one at a Cologne bike show
back in the day, but I might have made that up....I'm getting old...!!

some of the bottom end ones are fun too...in their own sort of way...such as the Falcon

Allegro produced more than one model

me LBS purchased the top model ~'73-'74 for their showroom

it was all drillium and pantographed

even in the conditions of "the boom" it sat for a relatively long while

when they finally sold it buyer insisted upon a PROPSTAND.

clerk showed buyer an ESGE and he proclaimed "No, no, I don't want one of those flimsy aluminum ones; I want a steel one!"

The bikes that Eddy Merckx and his crew built in their own shop are impressive, but not really my cup of tea.

The ones built by by the various licensees during the '70's while he was still riding, OTOH, I find quite interesting.

My favorite, hands down, is the "campeur" built by Miyata. Beautiful and wacky at the same time. If only they had made them in grown-up sizes ... 😟

I give you the MX-10CDX-B. Even the bags are properly branded: 🥰
