Built for Ian with a built-in rack to minimise pannier sway due to large amount of luggage he carried. If you where thinking of buying these to ride (which would be super cool) then they would really need to go back to Argos Cycles in Bristol to be refurbished.

I have his book Into The Remote Places. A great read. One of Britain's most famous cycle tourists without a doubt.

I believe the seller was Nic - a friend of Ian's. Sad to see Nic is no longer able to ride his own bikes due to illness (looks like his selling them all off) - his own website 'bike brothers' was regularly visited by me with a big mug of tea 15/19 years ago.
