Sorted WTD: Nice steel road bike, 54cm ideally

A friend who I built a bike for has had a crash and written off his frameset, top and down tubes bent and cracked :,)
hoping to find him another f&f and transfer his components over.
Current bike is roughly around a 53/54/55cm steel road frame (nice gilco style tubes), horizontal drops and 1" threaded fork with 27.2 seatpost. 68mm ISO bb and space for 28mm tyres.. He rides it fixed with 2x brakes. Not interested in mudguards, racks or mega tyre clearance or anything but does like a nice paint scheme - so any nice 80s 90s or 00s steel road bike will prob be worth looking at.
I guess his budget is up to £200. maybe i can convince him to spend more depending on what's being offered..
Anyone have anything lemme know!

I have a Basso frameset, it's stamped 54. Will get it measured up and some pics if you're likely to be interested? It's columbus SL tubing.

For reference it's the same colour scheme as this

Hey,

cheers Martin. He’s fine thankfully.

Still riding his horribly bent bike though so hoping to get it sorted asap!

I’ve passed on the link and I think he’s after something a bit more vibrant colour wise. It’s a very nice frame though in any case - thanks for offering.

Titanium frame 55cms
Have a fork that will fit if interested
£200

Did your mate ever get sorted?

I’d not I have this Viner freshly powder coated and with new decals ready to go on.

I just don’t have the time or space (and Italian is a breach of my “only British, Dutch and French” rule).

He could have it with the tange headset for 85 posted in the U.K.

It’s 55cm c to t with a 54cm top tube
