Hello, firstly my apologises if this is posted in the wrong forum. If there is a better place to post, if an admin could direct me that would be great.
I bought a Raleigh frame off ebay as a hobby rebuild and I am struggling to match the serial number on the frame to any known Raleigh model. The Serial number was found on the seat tube, and I can not find any other number on the frame. Serial number is HNP9006754. From all references I've found, this is in the right place, but should only be 2 letters and 6 numbers, hence my confusion. The bike has the Team Raleigh sticker across the top tube and has the Raleigh head badge. But as the last owner painted over everything its hard to find any other identifying marks.
Does anyone know what my serial number matches, or if there is any other way to id the frame model.
