For Sale Tyres (pairs): Specialized Ground Controls and Hardpacks. Panaracer Smokes

Three pairs of tyres, and probably more to follow. All have been extracted from the shed this evening and haven't been cleaned whatsoever, so they're looking as bad as they can. Warm soapy water and a nail brush will only improve them. Payment by Paypal family/friends or buyer covers the fees. These will be sent with Evri, in big ass mailing bags, something like this...



First up a crusty old pair of Panaracer Smoke Lite 1.9". These are dry and crusty. No splits or tears but I'd expect to see some if I tried to ride them offroad. £12.50 posted

Next a pair of super rare 2.2" yellow label Specialized Hardpacks. The tread is good but the side walls not so much in, several places. Only a madman would ride them further than around the cul-de-sac. They'll still look nice on a show pony though, £22.50 posted

Finally, for this evening, a lovely pair of Joe Murray Reaction tyres. Wite bead, not folders. A must have for a first/second year Kona, or anything else of the era really. These are in great shape all round. One is ever so slightly dry but the side walls on these are really tough. Logos are great and the tread is really good too. £80 posted for the pair. I'll potentially split these if they don't sell quickly, so if you already have a Maximum then shoot me a PM. SOLD PP

Another pair this morning, the elusive Specialized Ground Control, early yellow label. Again, these will clean up very nicely. I definitely consider these rideable. Very little drying of the side walls. Tread has loads of life left. One is slightly less supple that the other, and the tread blocks crack slightly, in places, when you pinch them together. A great pair of earlt tyres to finish off a late 80's/early 90's build. £120 posted NOW £100
