The last Overburys Crossfell to ever leave the shop !

A bit late to this thread but thought you might like to see this leaflet I have (it’s 41 years old now). I travelled down from Stafford to Bristol in 1985 to buy my Crossfell from the shop aged 19. I can remember taking it for its first test ride over the Clifton Suspension bridge too. Back then it got loads of admiring looks as the only other options were Ridgeback or Muddy Fox.

I no longer have the Cross Fell as I replaced it with a British Eagle Pro Carbon in 1992 - which I do still have. Both bikes being great 😘

Glad to hear that your purchase from Overburys went well , always interested to hear about peoples experiences in dealing
with the shop , almost always through Enid . Reading this thread again I just realised that I did not provide the final photos of the
completed Cross Fell , which I will try to sort out weather permitting . I also have some interesting and unlikely information
about the history/workings of the shop as it moved into the ' Pioneer ' era of its existence
