Fortunately, I have a 1/2 can of aircraft stripper left in the garage, the good MeCl stuff from before the ban. I scuffed it with emery cloth first, then laid on a coat of the stripper. After a good wash, only a little sanding was needed again with emery cloth. Tomorrow, weather providing, I’ll lay on a light coat of self-etching primer.those are indeed nice welds.
How did you strip the frame, as I'm hoping this wasn't sanded by hand? (For the person that got the task)
