Some may remember this from eBay a couple of years ago. I understand that rare doesn't always equal desirable but, in my opinion, this one isn't without it's charms. I have no idea of the history behind it but it seems to be a cut above most other promotional bikes from back in the day.....if that's what it is.
I've come to terms with the fact that I have far too many projects on the go so would like this to find a new home. I believe I could capitalise by breaking it for parts but would rather let it go as is, if possible. The rear end appears to be chromed under the flaking paint. It'll need a service and possibly a new cable or two; new tyres wouldn't go amiss either. I took it offroad a couple of times before storing it and it performed well, without issue.
17" frame with pretty much full XT (pedals too I think but not sure about headset), RM400 rims I believe and Turbo Special saddle. The bike isn't with me at present so it may take a few days if someone needs any questions answering
Asking £150 plus postage.
