Raleigh Sirocco 1984 finished

Hi
The rain stopped for a short while yesterday so I snapped a few phone pics of the 84 Sirocco that's finally been turned back into a complete bike.
Bought it a while ago minus wheels and in a sorry state but it was too good to scrap so I've bought it back to life with a pair of nice wheels, some bits out the box, a few new ancillaries and some pathetically mis-matched paint touch ups.
Too big for me (unless I can get some leg extensions) so I'll be moving it on. It'll make a nice Sunday tootler for some six footer.
23½" frame is 501 butted, 14 speed Shimano 105/Sora gears with 600 indexed/light action shifters, wheels are Mavic rims on Shimano hubs with Vittorio Intrepid Kevlar 25mm tyres. Brakes are Weinmann 500QR.
All true, smooth and working properly.
I reckon it was worth saving as it was Raleighs entry level race bike in it's day and although it's no longer all original it still looks like a proper bike. :)

Regards
Tony

Re:

Nice job. I’d be proud of that. There’s something very special about red bikes.

Looks lovely - white on red looks really clean.

I still don't know why almost every 80s Raleigh I have ever come across is a huge size - even back then.
