Raleigh M-trax freeride

Dirt Disciple
Hi all, I’m thinking of thinning the herd and this is the most esoteric bike in the stable.
It’s largely original, aside from some era-appropriate components.
I see there’s been some chat about them on the forums, it no mention of value.
Would anyone estimate its value for me? Thank you.

Nice bike!
Not sure you'll get a definitive value but in today's depressed market it might be disappointing - maybe £150-250 although happy to be corrected.
Unfortunately someone might buy it only to split.
What's your feeling on value?

Thanks for your perspective Lucidone!
I was hoping you were going to say a figure nearer £300 - 400, but I’ve little to base that on - other than adding up the value of the parts.
It’s an uncommon frame, which I understand doesn’t mean ‘valuable’, but it would be a shame to break it for parts.

Why is the market is buoyant in all the things I need to buy, but depressed in all the things I have to sell! 🤣 I think I might wheel this one back into the cave, with me alongside!

I think your about right on the valuation of parts (possibly a little more) if that's the way you want to go with it? I'm with you on it being nice to keep it together by the way
No harm in sticking it on eBay at £400 BIN with offers and seeing what happens though!
