why is old tat in the roadie world called Erotica, I don't get it and yet everything old is labelled as this

I don't really know anything about it, I'm sure someone will come along who does, but I have noticed any old tat (including MTB) is now being called L'Eroica, in the same way it used to be 'kult', 'retro' etc.

The only good thing about it is it keeps catching people out with their spellcheckers, as it did you it would seem!
