Powder coating for lower legs

Having my frame powder coated and wanted my suspension fork lowers done the same colour.
Will heating in the oven have a detrimental affect on the bushes?

Can't some places do a cold electrolytic powder coat process?

I'm told it will so I had the bushes removed for the process.

Aye - but you need the right tool. Spendy or DIY which I didn't have time for. I took mine to a local LBS/suspension specialist & had them remove them & replace them after. They were in good order so didn't need changing. £35. I took the opportunity to do a full seal & oil service.

I've just spoken to RSF Suspension and they said the oven will damage them.
I'll try my LBS.
