Polishing Pads?

I started a similar thread a while back and there was some great advice and recommendations.

In the end I went and bought myself a dremel which is fine for the small detail work I'm currently working on, however I'll be looking at getting a drill clamp and a polishing attachment kit as shown in the above thread for a future project that will involve more heavy duty sanding/polishing.
Power drill sanding/polishing
Anyone use their power drill for sanding, polishing and buffing? How well does it do the job? Can you recommend and attachment kits that would be useful specifically for bike related work? Or is their a better similarly priced solution? INB4 'By hand', yes, of course, I will finish by hand but...
