Orange Stalk option

Does anybody who speaks orange know if they made a 1" stalk stem....also what lengths did they do and did they all have a cable hanger?

Finally, what year did they come out?

Trying to work out the appropriate stem for a 92 prestige.

My ‘92 Prestige came with a black Stalk, maybe a Stalk Lite. There were a few styles over the years, like the earlier white ones. If I can find a photo, I’ll share… here you go, stolen from a post on here.
From new, mine had no canti holder. The style changed in 1993 to one with this and a fatter stem top

Ok. Thats interesting. Was the alloy version concurrent with these or was that later, do you know?

Hi there, Ali was concurrent around ‘91-‘93 iirc, as a cost option on steel frames. I guess possibly standard on Ali frames.

The pictures above are the two versions of the Stalk. The one without the canti hanger was the original from 1989 to 1993ish. Once the second Stalk was released (with canti hanger) around 1992 the original became the Stalk Lite. The aluminium stem was an option in the early 90's. From memory sizes were between 120-160mm. I have all three stems so let me know if you need more info.

Having thought the Stalk Lite was just a re-branded original Stalk it turns out I was wrong. Very similar but different bolt cap and the early one had the cable routed through the stem.

The early stem's seem to be zero but later ones could be ordered with rise.

Although, looking above it seems the original changed to the black version under the Stalk name, before the re-brand when the new design Stalk appeared.
