Old Peugeot

I was offered this yesterday. Does anyone have any info on it? Is it worth anything, or just scrap?

Hi, certainly not scrap but there`s not a huge demand for 70`s Peugeots ( with some exceptions such as PX10 ) esp as this seems to have steel rims . it`s the 80`s that the higher end bikes are most interesting. I think the 70`s stuff still had french threading ( 80`s on are english thread except vitus ) . If you have a use for it and its free or cheap then go for it , if you want to make money on it I wouldn`t bother .

Definitely not scrap, with a simple overhaul it would be a good city bike, I imagine a student would gladly make use of it as a runabout.
Also is that an alpinestars stars in the background.
