I have an Claud Butler Sierra Road Bike from the early to mid 80s (haven't checked the frame number yet). It hasn't got fixings for drinks bottles and I was told by my local bike mechanic that it isn't save to put screw fixings in. I've tried cable ties
and they don't work. Does anyone know if you can get tube clamps made for this purpose, and where to find them?

By the way, this bike is probably the most comfortable I have ever ridden. 40-odd years old and it is taking me on a London to Paris charity ride next year.
