This pearl yellow bike was purchased new in 1997 by me, the seller. It's got Campagnolo Chorus 8 speed components. This has the integrated headset and original stem (called a neck by Klein). I have the special tool to remove the stem, included. The chain ring is 53-42, the cogs are 12-21.
Built in Chehalis, Washington before the Trek boys got hold of the works there.
Stored since 2005 in a climate controlled basement. She's beautiful.
I will include the Rolf Sestriere rear wheel (Shimano hub) with cogset and campy spacers for flawless shifting. GoreTex cables. Thompson Elite seatpost, Deda bars.
Email, or call for further details. I love this bike.
The fork has a crack in the paint at the top, near the center. Experts have inspected to affirm it is just a paint crack, and it has not changed while I rode it. Should you choose to replace the fork, parts are available from Trek ($40) to make the switch to any conventional fork.
