Keep Calm and Keep Cycling (retro that is)

H

Retro Guru
You have to love this community of like minded souls. Earlier today whilst thumbing through RB’s pages I read a piece from a fellow biker and it encouraged me to get the ‘wheels’ of the wall. So, to lift my mood I’ve decided to ditch my well used gravel bike and commit my daily riding to all things retro. I’ve included Good Friday’s steed below, enjoy... as I definitely did. The sun, the empty roads and socially distancing folks of Leamington made it a wonderful, if brief, ride. Peace and love, H.

Re:

IIRC Mint did say ‘this is why’. Any hoo, a new day brings fourth a rather less than new ride. I present you my Dave Yates Donkis Knob. Today’s quick blast across my immediate Shire was indeed a ‘blast’. If you’ve got yours locked up, set them responsibly free. Peace and love, H.

That's nice, I'd love to have that in my collection.

Just waiting for a new bb tool then I'll be out on mine. Would like to build my minter up but I'm locked down and the frame is at work.

Re:

I did the same! I dragged my Fire Mountain out of storage, I don't think it has turned a wheel in nearly 2 years

Lovin' the Funquay and the 'Yates.

Re:

Totally agree. All the local country parks are closed around here so restricted to bridal paths (crowded) and country lanes (blissfully clear).Dragged my 91 Karakoram off the bike rack, sorted out the gear adjustment (finally ) put 50 psi in the tyres and have clocked up 50 miles over the last two mornings. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommended
