Right out of the gate, that is a great option. Thing is, right now, you could well pick up a fully built bike for buttons thanks to winter, etc.

I would look for a local fully built bike. I've seen really nice Spesh Allez bikes sell for the price of that frame. I have an alu Allez with carbon forks and its a brilliant all day bike.
