I am thinking about selling my NOS Ibis Custom frameset from 1988.

From my perspective I was thinking ‘what a lovely frame’ then was shocked by the price. I’m not even saying it’s not worth it just that it was higher than I expected.

And the chap below appears to be expressing his opinion in quite a gentle way.

I don’t anyone is asking for ‘something for nothing’ or playing any kind of hardball.

Well, I know that the frameset is not quite cheap but I am always open to serious offers.

But please keep in mind that this is a never build 28 year old frameset from one of the most regarded builders back in the days. Not many have been build, even fewer have survived and maybe this is the last NOS one.

In my opinion its not overpriced compared to what people pays for used Kleins, Fats or Yetis, for example.

Well it is a lovely frame with a great paint job and things are worth what people pay for them as they say,

I think I'm just gutted that I can't afford it!

Worth about 4x the equivalent NOS Klein I'd say...
Or maybe 6x

I feel a little fluttery, have to sit down, good luck finding it a happy new home!
