Help please - Steel GT serial numbers

I'm pretty sure.
But maybe this pic helps:

The 'all terra' and 'karakoram' used to be orange.
When I found it there was an LX group on it an when I looked into the 94 catalogue it matched.

I could be wtong though 😬

I'll rely on someone with better knowledge to confirm, but I think that the cable routing was all along to top tube in 1994, which would make this a 1993 - although this paint scheme is not listed in the catalogue.

In the 1994 catalogue the bike still has the groove tube, the cable routing for the rear brake looks the same, it is LX equipped and the colour black is mentioned. That's why I guessed it's a 1994 model.

I thought this was the 1994 Karakoram in black with blue and white decals:

If so, all three cables go under the Groove Tube.

There should be an additional character under the cable guide for the second two numbers, so T9112 A034 #071. The first will be an 'A', the second will be whatever number serial they had got to - not important for information.

You have a 1992 Tequesta (Tange MTB double-butted tubing) with the frame being manufactured in December 1991. Possibly used the same frame as the 1991 Karakoram? Should be a nice ride!
Amazing! Nice to know it's a bit further up the range, I would have loved a Karakoram too. I wish there was something left of the original paint but it looks pretty well stripped. Do you think the forks could be original?

You were spot on with the extra digits under the cable guide. I took another photo for the sake of completeness A043 0071

The fork looks the right shape for GT, but I think the Tequesta fork would have only had one eyelet each side, so possibly the fork is from a model lower in the range (or there was some variability in the forks supplied).

The origianl colour is likely to have either been the Wild Daktari Black scheme or a slightly darker blue than it is now.

Thank you for confirming the full number - logged in the spreadsheet!
