Headset bearings for Kona Sex Too

Hi.

Im looking to replace the current bearing on the Kona with an upgrade
I would like to go with a cartridge bearing but im unsure of the sizes
The forks are still the Rockshox Quadra 21r that I have just rebuilt.
As far as I can see the bearings that are on look like the original Impact Headset.
Can anyone advise what they have replaced them with on thier own Kona.

If the bearing races are still in good condition you could just replace the bearings and regrease the headset. They have bigger sized bearings in the lower cups. They’re 1/4 in the bottom and 5/32 in the top.
If you decide to change the headset then I think it should be a threaded 1 1/8. I’d happily take the old one off your hands if you do change it!

Do you know what size the inside of the stem tube is please?
or have a link to some bearings to fit.

Just have a look on eBay for 5/32 bearings and 1/4 bearings. They’re about £2 a bag
