Haven’t been around guys
My dad wasn’t well and he passed away on the morning of the 27th. Aged 92 and today was his 93rd birthday - god bless your soul my dear dad!
Dad’s have so much influence on sons growing up to adulthood and beyond ti fatherhood and middle age, so much so that one takes it for granted and doesn’t really think about how influential and important they really have been until they’re gone.
Dad bought me all my bikes until I started working, my first proper bike was a Raleigh Europa racer in team colours - I think I’ll have to get one now...

Very sorry to hear this, but such lovely thoughts and sentiments you've posted.

I'm sure you have people in place for support, but never shy away from reaching out on here if you need.

A lot of people with pretty interesting dads frequent this place I reckon!

More than a few who probably fixed bikes and lent tools to teach us how ourselves, as we were growing up.
