GT 3D forks

Hi guys, is there any difference between 1992 Avalanche 3D forks and 1992 Zaskar 3D forks?
There's an Avalanche frame for sale and just wondered if I can nab the forks off it for the Zaskar

Go for it , don't think GT had different grades of 3D fork , tho there are 3 or 4 different type of rigid GT fork , not shure who made them either , probably spinner

Cheers, I agree. Only difference could be is the length of steerer but hey, if it's wrong I can always just ride the Avalanche rather than break it

Steerer length is head tube / frame size dependant anyway

Used to know these numbers off by heart , I am for old now , remember do not

If the forks are from a 20" frame to be out on a 18" frame, will they go d'ythink? :?

Forks from a large gt will fit your medium zaskar but you might have to extend the threads.should be easy to find a bike shop that can do it for about £20 or so
