Gary Fisher Sugar 2 - Original gear - value?

Hi All,

I was recommended this site by a friend when I mentioned selling my old trusty steed.
It's a Gary Fisher Sugar 2 - 1999 model, imported from the US.
It has RockShox SID XC forks, Cane Creek AD10 rear shock, and is a X-Large size.
All original gear on it, except tyres and tubes.
Has been ridden up til recently and needs matching tyres (it had 2 Panaracer Fire XC Pro's on in matching red, but a side wall split ruined one), a new chain and grips. I'm reluctant to get any parts as been told by SWMBO the bike must go and if I replace these items I'll be riding it again.
Also have the original bike and RockShox owners manuals.
I've no idea on price and after any thoughts.

I'm no expert but FS GFs from a couple of years earlier are going for £100 max- often more like £60-£80.
Having said that this is a different set-up and geometry, plus it's got decent shocks...
I'd reckon on around £250-£300 should be achievable- maybe a bit more as it looks to be in v.good condition- it's just the question of finding someone who wants one!

@Stressed great find thanks, been monitoring eBay for ages but never seen one appear before. That one has its original WTB tyres.
Thanks for the info really helpful, as you say depends on finding someone who wants one.
They're a great ride and so different to modern day booked. Reluctant to let it go but there again I've had great value from it.
