1999 KHS Crest Retro Mountain Bike, 19", Lots of custom parts, Very Capable off road bike, still regularly used off road.

Classic KHS late 1990's mountain bike from a company who no longer imports into the UK, so it is a very rare example. It has been heavily upgraded over the years and very well maintained. The frame is solid with all welds perfect with no cracks and has never been repaired. Many classic and retro parts from Sugino, X-lite, Club Roost and Avid.

The wheels are true, and while there are a few chips here and there on the chain-stays and frame, they are not bad for a 20 year old bike and the bike, despite it's age still gets admiring looks on the trails because of it's age and condition and because KHS no longer sells in the UK.

This bike can still handle Blue and Red routes of mountain bike trails and regularly rides Dalbeattie and Kirroughtree.

Thanks for the question. I maybe worded it wrongly - but what I mean is that much of the bike has been altered from its original manufactured spec. The remaining original parts from 99/00 are the frame, wheels and mechs. Everything else has been upgraded or replaced.
