FAUSTO COPPI '80s Columbus "ESA" FRAME SET

Jesper

Old School Hero
Similar to Colnago Regal and ESA Mexico frames. 6 flutes on main tubes. Repaint, but not a 'rattle can' job. BB has '53' stamped on it; I assume it's the size (I measured the ST as 53.5 cm c-c, 55 cm c-t, TT 55 cm c-c). Seat cluster lug has 'P-10' stamped on it (possibly a lug designation); no other markings on the frame. I am curious as to the actual frame builder if anyone has any idea. I have a period correct "NOS" Cinelli EXA hexagonally fluted handlebar. A good match for this frame considering it's tubing style.

I have been informed that this frame was made after Fiorelli sold the rights to the name. It is possible that it is a Pelizzoli designed frame, but certainly not his build work as the overall workmanship would not match anything I have seen built by him.
