strictly speaking thats not the exact matching fork, the fat chance ti sprayed up fork was grey fade to blue.. but hey I'm not complaining, FAT chance ti is a cult bike ...RIP 005T2M

1/2 right, its a sleeve, goes all the way around the tube. a crude form of butting. it was done to stiffen the frame rather than strenghten (normal gusset intention)

thats the cool thing about smaller companies like FAT, they could make changes as they went along. my 005T2M had the sleeved tube on the downtube, but didnt have the weld up the centre. I've seen several different small tweaks on FAT tis, cable guides, canti hangers (webbys is at an angle). sleeved chainstays, sleeved AND machined chainstays etc etc
