K keithglos Senior Retro Guru Jul 21, 2015 #4 The cable screws onto the end of the chain that goes into the hub. It has a tube about 3cms long which is threaded inside. This is the way the gears are adjusted. You should have a small locknut on the toggle chain. Keith
