Beautiful Eddy Merckx Strada OS frameset from year 1998 in size 52 (These details have been provided to me when I purchased this frame)
Bought NOS few years back and built for my wife with new Shimano groupset.
Unfortunately, wifey doesn’t share my love for steel beauties and after, literally, 5 rides in dry weather and further 2 years of hard convincing I am forced to sell as the bike has only been gathering dust and should be ridden.
The bike is in immaculate condition with all original paint and stickers. There is a tiny, hardly noticeable damage to the sticker on the head tube (frame came like this when I bought it). This can easily be touched up with black paint and made invisible if necessary( see photo).
There is also a very small superficial rub on the inner side of one of the chainstays caused by a faulty quickout which resulted in the wheel misalignment and the tyre rub. It is currently neatly covered by little carbon finish sticker (see photo)
Otherwise, there are no paint chips or scratches. Paint is in perfect condition.
The carbon look protection sticker on the top of chainstay (visible in one of the photos) is brand new and is there to add protection. It is not to hide any damage and can be removed if required with no impact on the chrome.
Frame comes with the original fork (fully chromed).
