I have a Dawes Audax which I use as my regular ride. It's the bike I'd keep if I had to limit myself to one ... I can tour on it, it will do fast road rides and if I stripped off the rack and mudguards I could time trial it, if that was my bag. Anyway, what I was wondering is, how old is it? It's a 531C frame with fairly traditional geometry (level top tube, classic style forks, that sort of thing) and a mix of Shimano 105 and RSX100 kit, including STI shifters. I have no pics of it handy, but if anyone has even a rough idea of how old it is, I'd be interested to know. My own guess is mid 1990s, but I might be wrong.
