In a sensible 120mm rather than the more regular 135 or bonkers 150 which I have lying around, I have this rather nice Control Tech quill stem in 1 inch. I had this in the Bontrager Race OR, and when I first had it (around ‘95), bought the Control Tech ti bolt kit to go with it, so both the wedge bolt and the handlebar bolt are ti. With the alloy wedge too, it comes in at a very light 229 grams, so good for a lightweight American-focussed build.
It’s very original, with the flag sticker still on (usually missing) and the rubber bung (usually missing or bug++++d).
You can see the rise in photo - estimate about 5-8 deg, ie ‘lite rise’. Clamp 25.4.
I rate it 8/10 - small nick out of LH decal, and tiny nick on flag label - neither particularly noticeable.
I think 40.00 gbp including postage but correct me if that’s wrong.
