I posted this over at VRC, but perhaps some of the lads might like it too.
Email campaign anyone?

I was thinking of a silver post for one of my Yo's, but maybe I should try to swing a Thomson in GREEN:

These were definitely Thomson. The staff at the shop I saw them at in Tokyo said they were a special order. I fired off an email to Thomson to inquire......but am prepared to be told "we only do black and silver, our brand image means nothing in Japan as long as we get paid" ....or something slightly less cynical.

thomson stuff

i don't see why you can't get that done right there in new haven. i am sure there is someone in town that does anodizing and polishing/plating.

Quite right, but I am always intrigued/bemused/annoyed by US manufacturers who produce neat colors for the Japan market they don't roll out here.

Nice love hotel yo-nate-y :-D

The ano thomson stuff is pretty cool! Interesting to hear what they say. No probably.

Plenty of manufacturers in plenty of fields do Jap only stuff. The Yen is powerful!

They've got a hotel with a Hello Kitty bondage room, so yeah, a HK Thomson post should be a cake-walk ;)
LOL

I designed a record cover a few years back (designed to look like a fridge and text & such was made to look as magnets) and among other things I 'made' (*) a gag-balled Hello Kitty-fridge-magnet... xD

(*) 70% Photoshop fakery based on pic's of a friends fridge - and she actually had a Hello Kitty magnet, I just added the gagball, hehe...
