Chorlton charity bike shop still as good as ever

https://www.facebook.com/@CFCCharityBikeShopManchester/...still a great place to rummage through the retro parts bins and come away with some treasure for not many £££.
well stocked with renovated donated bikes currently and even some exotic frames, plus the usual surfeit of used shoes and clothing. oh and coffee table cycling books at £1 each - then go get a sizzler at Barbakan across the road and marvel at the empty cycle lanes. (free parking at Unicorn wholefood co-op 50m away)

Have a good time rummaging through the boxes here too. Any idea of any others with a similar “parts bin” set up in Manchester?
Cheers

There used to be another in Chorlton but sadly no more, there are some folks that recycle bikes in one of the railway arches in castlefield, and have a bit of a cafe too iirc, but nothing with any rummage facility.
The annual velodrome cycle jumble is at the beginning of the year and is probably the best, plus some folks on here also organise similar north of the border. I am contemplating whether I should arrange a retrobike jumble myself in the near future, I will start a thread to gauge interest and see if there is sufficient response
