I bought this for my wife
A 1992 (I think) cannondale M800
It was well used and I guess all original
LX brake levers 7 speed cassette and LX thumbies and Wolber Titanium rims on LX hubs
with original cannondale 3dv cantis, Seat QR etc and Tioga pedals - LX cranks on Shimano rings exactly as you see

I then gave it a facelift -
A titanium handlebar
Controltech quill stem and Seatpost
Control Stix team issue bar ends
And the saddle
ODI grips to match the purple - new chain and a deep clean and degrease.
Next up some amber wall Off road tyres To replace the Slicks and done!

Re:

Nice one! I remember such bar-ends from back in the days. I like your mods

Thanks guys
The bar ends I had to seek out - took a while but thanks RB! It’s for a comfortable riding position for her - they can be gripped nicely while upright rather than in a crouched racing position.
They’re very nice and light
Bike weighs exactly 24 lbs - the tyres and tubes are quite heavy so potentially this could be a 22 lb ride but no big deal as it’s quite light as it stands and more or
Less completely period correct

Original LX groupset - gears shifters hubs and skewers
Wolber Ti rims
Sealed shimano bottom bracket (no idea which one - was already in the bike)
Tioga pedals
Coda canti brakes and seatpost QR fittings 3dv
Controltech stem seatpost and controlstix bar ends
Michelin wildgripper tyres

New modern parts:
ODI grips
Generic bottle cage
KMC chain
Ladies Chinese made but comfy saddle
