Can you repair/weld/glue a cracked rim ?

The internal wall holds the air pressure.
It's a lot of load. Exactly in the direction(s) that are going to cause that crack to open up, then peel apart.
 
Thanks for all the tips/opinions everyone. It’s still sat on the shelf going no where, just a shame to bin it.
 
If you're feeling lucky, drill the ends of the cracks, sand the cracked areas to bare metal and liberally apply JB weld. I'd guess that would hold quite well.

That stuff is seriously impressive, friend punched a 3x3" hole is his MX bike clutch cover. Saran swapped one side and filled the missing area with JB weld. Worked like a charm, never failed.
