My centaur cranks were on a c. 124mm, slightly assymetric, if that helps, and I recall the Campy brochure listed the same.

Yes, that is the size for original centaur bb. Tried also with a shimano 122 and worked ok.
The black one are exactly the same cranks as the silver.

Shimano shouldn't fit, different taper surely, ISO not JLS?

Probably you are right... I have checked and it is a Miche Bb! Probably the right one for Campagnolo! Good to know! Thanks

Ok, no probs. In 1993 those thumbs have been used also with Centaur group.
