Calling Orange Clockwork Experts

Sadly I don't, well not unless I chucked in a matching frame/fork/stem and post, to swop for all 12 Orange Catalogues.

Did you have chance to scan the missing ones for the site...?

Have you got a picture of an orange front end with a the white stem?

I'm at work now but can post one when home tomorrow. The early Clockworks usually had white stems but by 1992 they were usually black and the mk2 Stalk was showing up. I have seen a few orange stems but they are rare and not really standard. If it was my bike I'd be going for orange forks, black stem.

If the frame you've got Jon is my old one that was pictured then the decal placement is pretty typical. I think that shade of Orange was my favourite, compared to the 1991/2 that was a bit pinker and the 1989/90 that was a deeper orange. 1992/3 was the vintage age for the Clockwork IMO, lovely. 8)

As promised. The orange/white is a 1989, the grey a 1992 which I copied decal placement off for mine.

Nice to see a pic of the white stalk on the bike in those colours too.. 8)

This example was colour matched, fade depths and decal style and placement were measured as per the original frame and yet displays the alternative placement of decals for the same model year.....

This is getting confusing...I think I prefer the 92 placement/style.

Me too Jon, 92/93 was the golden year for the Clockwork imo, the sweet spot. Classic font but in the updated style. 8)
